He added that prior to this period, "I have played active roles in community development service in Shonga in the areas of construction of primary healthcare service and donation of 2000 blocks to the women development project building in the community."

The guber candidate who was in company of his runing mate, Mallam Ahmed Yinka Aluko and other party chieftains stated this on Saturday at the Palace of the Emir of Shonga as part of his campaign tour.He however thanked the traditional ruler for accomodating the party in his domain and commended him for his numerous contributions to the growth of the community and nation at large.In his response, the Emir of Shonga, Dr. Haliru Yahaya Ndanusa, saluted the maturity at which the party chieftains conducted themselves stressing that the desires performing leaders.

He said: "In Shonga, we play politics with maturity and we always appreciate playing politics with sportsmanship and we believe that only God gives power to whoever he wish because in every election, there must be winners and lossers."

The monarch however demanded for the creation of three local government areas from the current Shonga Emirate as well as the construction of bridge over the River Niger to link the community with their kinsmen in Niger State.The PDP campaign team was received into the community by mammoth crowd with the presentation of horses to the duo of Sen Ajibola and Mallam Aluko which they rode round the town.
