Kwara striker Alebiosu out for 4 weeks

Date: 2013-08-07

Kwara United striker Segun Alebiosu has been ruled out for four weeks after he injured his ankle in a Nigeria league Week 23 game against Sharks.

Alebiosu was stretchered off the pitch after a collision with Sharks defender Gabriel Olalekan.

The 18-year-old striker will miss 'The Afonja Warriors' next five games as they battle to remain inside the top four spots on the league table.

"We will miss him," declared Kwara United coach Samson Unuanel.

"He is a young enterprising striker, but this is football and these things happen. All we are hoping now is that he recovers quickly even though he would be out for between three to four weeks."
