Rt Hon Danladi Salihu, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and APC governorship aspirant, has welcomed the endorsement of Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki MFR as the preferred candidate to fly the party's governorship ticket.

He described the endorsement by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON as a welcome and well-deserved development, noting that as a loyal party member, he aligns with the Governor's position in recognition of party supremacy and the Governor's leadership.

The Speaker described Ambassador Seriki as a respected ally, a successful businessman, and a strong supporter of the AbdulRazaq administration, adding that he has the capacity to consolidate the Governor's achievements.

He urged APC members across the state to close ranks, rally behind Governor AbdulRazaq's leadership, and work together for the victory of the party in the 2027 general election and beyond.
