Kwara Governor Mourns Late Susan Oluwole, Renowned Technocrat and Former Head of Service
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has expressed profound grief over the passing of the former Head of Service of the state, Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole, describing her as an “impeccable technocrat” and a pillar of public service.
Mrs. Oluwole, 58, died on Wednesday, just over a year after her retirement from the Kwara State Civil Service. The governor, in a statement, praised her as a credible authority in governance, whose career was defined by hard work, integrity, and exceptional institutional memory .
He recalled her rise to prominence through her dedication and brilliance, stating that she left an indelible mark on the state's administrative landscape.
Governor AbdulRazaq highlighted her tenure as a period of transformative leadership, noting that her contributions to Kwara's civil service were “exceptional and invaluable.”
He lamented the loss of a trusted colleague and a visionary leader who embodied the highest standards of public service.
Governor AbdulRazaq commiserates with her family, particularly her husband and her aged father, as well as the entire civil service hierarchy in the state.
He prays to God to repose her soul and give the family and contemporaries the courage to bear this huge loss.
