The speakers, following this year's theme of "Inspiring Inclusion," stressed that women should recognize their own worth without comparing themselves to men. Mrs. Juliet Halawani, who started Evolve with Juliet, said that inclusion should benefit everyone, not just women. She suggested creating a world where everyone can succeed and urged people to be kind to each other.
Another speaker, Mrs. Joy Kayode, a freelancer and Digital Entrepreneur, advised women to know their value and be independent. She said finding the right mentors can help women feel more confident and that investing in oneself is crucial.
Hajarat Alli, a Wellness Curator at Spa Pampering At Home, encouraged women to step out of their comfort zones and be open to new opportunities. She emphasized the importance of working together and listening to constructive feedback.
Miss Angel Ayokanmi, a Human Resources Manager at EVC, told women to believe in themselves and be proud of their skills.
The event was organised by MALHub Ilorin, in partnership with Plat Technologies Limited, founded by Taofik Abdulkareem; Ilorin Innovation Hub, and Fairshop.
