Amoyo Community Commends Ahmed over Land Disposition
People of Amoyo community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have commended Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed-led administration for the appreciable level of understanding and tolerance which it had demonstrated over the recently acquired land in their domain.
The Alamoyo of Amoyo, Oba Jamiu Oyebode Ibrahim stated this during a thank you visit which he and his subjects paid to the State Bureau of Lands.
The traditional ruler who acknowledged the constitutionality of the government's actions confirmed his people's support and loyalty to the interest of the public, adding that its use would accelerate the economic development of his community and the state at large.
In his reaction, the deputy Director-General of the bureau, Alhaji Ibrahim Salman reiterated the government's sincerity on land policy in the state.
He also appreciated the gesture of Amoyo community and promised that the state government would provide an enabling environment for the development of Amoyo to reciprocate their good gesture.
In a related development, staff of the Kwara State Bureau of Lands have been charged to be more industrious, resourceful, punctual and disciplined so as to multiply the success of the state government and land administration in the state.
Speaking, the Director-General, Bureau of Lands, Alhaji Yusuf Abdulwahab gave the charge recently his maiden meeting with at the workers.
He admonished them on charting a new course for an improved service delivery.
