Tertiary education to witness huge boost in 2nd tenure – Kwara Commissioner
The Kwara Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr Alabi Abolore, has assured stakeholders in the tertiary education sector of an enhanced progression in terms of qualitative service delivery in the second tenure of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The commissioner gave the assurance while receiving the new Permanent Secretary, Hajia Habiba Saidu, posted to the ministry on her assumption of duty on Monday in Ilorin.
Abolore said that the re-election of AbdulRazaq in the just concluded election would rebirth productive and structural enhancements in all tertiary institutions across the state.
Mrs Saidu also collaborated the commissioner's assurances of a huge boost for the tertiary education sector in the second term of AbdulRazaq.
She admonished staff of the ministry to be steadfast, committed and focused in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Mrs Saidu stated that the garment factory, which is nearing completion, is one among the giant strides of AbdulRazaq.
She said this was no doubt, a clear testimony that the working governor truly deserved his re-election, considering the numerous achievements recorded in all sectors during his first tenure.
The permanent secretary appreciated the reception accorded her on assumption of office and solicited for harmonious working relationship with the management and staff of the ministry.
