Kwara Sends over 100 Athletes to Eko 2012

One hundred and thirteen athletes will represent Kwara State at the 18th National Sports Festival holding in Lagos from November 27th-December 9th.

The State Director of Sports, Coach Tunde Kazeem said this in an interview with VON in Ilorin, Kwara state capital, Northern Nigeria.

Coach Kazeem said the state will feature in 15 Sporting events including Football, Basketball, Badminton, Athletics, Table Tennis, Boxing and Kick Boxing.

The State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed will address the athletes before their departure for the festival.

The State Contingent will leave 25th November for the Festival tagged 'EKO 2012' while the State Football Team will play its first match 26th November.
