Kwara ACF gets new chairman, Dr Ghali Alaaya

A new chairman has been appointed for the Kwara State Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF.

He is Dr Muhammad Ghali Alaaya, a university Don with the University of Ilorin.

His appointment followed the recent demise of the ACF's chairman in the state, Saidu Olayinka.

The state secretary of the association, Abdullahi Jibril, disclosed this in a statement in Ilorin.

The ACF, also appointed Kawu Daibu, as a member of the National Working Committee, Dr Yusuf Garba Manjo (Treasurer), Abdullahi Jibril (Secretary) and Barrister Sharafadeen Ibrahim (Legal Adviser).

The association commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, over the death of its former chairman.

It acknowledged the immense contributions of the late Saidu Olayinka to the socio-economic development of the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.
