Kwara PDP Congratulates Sen. Rafiu Ibrahim On 54th Birthday

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State has congratulated a former lawmaker representing Kwara South senatorial district, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim who turns 54 today, 12 December, 2020.

In a statement by its State Chairman, Hon. Kola Shittu, the party said it was delighted to join Senator Rafiu's immediate family, friends, associates, followers and wellwishers to wish him a wonderful happy birthday, and appreciate Allah for His blessings on him.

The Kwara PDP described the Senator as a loyal party man, an exceptional politician and one of the finest lawmakers Kwara has had in recent years, noting that he served his constituents with uncommon passion, diligence and selflessness.

The party stated that even out of office, the Oyun-born politician has continued to impact positively in the lives of people within and outside his immediate constituency, which has endeared him to the heart of the people. It added that Senator Rafiu had become 'a goldfish that has no hiding place.'

"Our party is proud to be associated with Senator Rafiu Ibrahim and we are delighted to join his imnediate family members, friends, associates, followers and wellwishers to wish him a wonderful happy birthday and thank Allah for His blessings on him.

"Senator Rafiu is without doubt, la loyal and dedicated party man, who is always willing to contribute to the cause of the party. He is an outstanding politician and one of the finest lawmakers Kwara has had in recent years. As a legislator, he served his constituents with uncommon passion, diligence and selflessness, and embarked on several community development projects and programmes for his people.

"Even while out of office, Senator Rafiu continues to impact positively in the lives of people within and outside his immediate constituency. He has become the proverbial goldfish that has no hiding place. His sterling leadership qualities and performance account for the past and recent honours he received from reputable groups within and outside Kwara.

"We are proud of him and wish him the best on his birthday and pray to Almighty Allah to continue to protect and bless him and grant him a longer life in the service of the people and his creator."
