Buhari appoints Belgore, 11 others as permanent secretaries

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of 12 new permanent secretaries in the federal civil service.

A statement issued by the spokesperson of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Olawunmi Ogunmosule, said the new permanent secretaries are from the six geo-political zones.

The appointees are Belgore Shuaib Muhammad Lamido (Kwara), Akinlade Oluwatoyin (Kogi), Alkali Bashir Nura (Kano), Anyanwutaku Adaora Ifeoma (Anambra), Ardo Babayo Kumo (Gombe), Ekpa Anthonia Akpabio (Cross River), and Hussaini Babangida (Jigawa).

Others are Mahmuda Mamman (Yobe), Meribole Emmanuel Chukwuemeka (Abia), Mohammed Aliyu Ganda (Sokoto), Tarfa Yerima Peter (Adamawa) and Udoh Monilola Omokunmi (Oyo).
