The party in a statement signed by its publicity secretary, Alh. Mas'ud Adebimpe blamed the allegation on a group which it says is operating under the guise of an Islamic organization, but is attempting to incite the people of Ilorin against the PDP administration in the state.

He added, "it's a known fact that the land policy proposed by the state government was publicly suspended by the state Chief Excecutive, Alh Abdulfatah Ahmad and is currently undergoing review with all genuine stakeholders making input into the policy as demonstrated by the State House of Assembly in the recent public hearing held on the same subject matter.

"The PDP administration under Governor Abdulfatah Ahmad was not driving any policy to subjugate Islam or any religious community, instead it has been working assiduously to promote and sustain religious harmony in the state among religious group."
