Group canvasses support for Buhari in Kwara

Date: 2019-02-10

A civil society group, Speak Up Nigeria, has urged the people of Kwara State to use next week's elections as an opportunity to free themselves from political domination by Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki The group, yesterday, urged the people to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, saying Buhari has brought succour to millions in the last three and a half years.

Addressing a rally of beneficiaries of Buharl's empowerment programmes across Kwara, Public Relations Officer of N-Power beneficiaries in the state, Salman Habeeb Olesin, said it was time for Kwara State people to set themselves and the state free from the firm grip of one individual, whose style has neither impacted positively on the lives of the masses nor translated into progress and development of the state in the last 20 years.
