First batch of Kwara Pilgrims landed in Saudi Arabia

The first batch of pilgrims to this year's Hajj from Kwara State comprising five hundred and fifty two have landed safely in Jedah Saudi Arabia and now on their way to Medinah.

The secretary of the state Pilgrims board Alhaji Tunde Omolehin Jimoh confirmed to our correspondent that all the Pilgrims are in high spirits.

The Kwara contingents are the third to land at the king Abdilazeez international airport in Jedah for àaaa year's Hajj operation

Alhaji Jimoh said the initial delay in the flight was attributed to the new Saudi Arabia policies which affects all the operational agencies and service providers in Nigeria and assure that all the remaining Pilgrims will be airlifted as scheduled.
