Unilorin VC: SSS screens Ambali, Salihu and others
The candidates, Professor Jimi Adesanya, Professor Timothy Opoola, Professor Luke Ayorinde, Professor AbdulGaniyu Ambali and Professor Hassan Salihu are expected to appear before the interview panel on Monday, in which three of them would be selected and their names sent to the president.
Reports reaching us said a group called Concerned Members of Alumni of the University of Ilorin, petitioned the selection committee over alleged manipulation in the award of scores to favour interests. This was signed by the chairman and secretary of the Alumni Prince F.R. Aruwajoye and Alhaji M.O. AbdulKadir. They urged the committee to properly scrutinize the original manuscripts.
