CP Olusola Amore has been posted as the new Commissioner of Police, Kwara State police command, Ilorin The development was as a result of the promotion and posting of Assistant Inspector Generals of police and appointment of 37 Commissioners of Police by the Police Service Commission (PSC).

CP Olusola Amore was deployed from the Police Pension office to replace CP Sam Okaula who had earlier been transferred to Anambra state police command. Other newly posted police Commissioners and their states are, CP Frederick Taiwolakanlu, Imo state; Rasheed Akintunde, Edo State; Ahmed Iliyasu, Ogun state; Rabiu Yusuf; Kanu state; Sanusi Lemu, Kaduna state; Abdullahi Ibrahim; Kogi state; Adeleye Oyebade, Oyo state and Muazuzu Bairhi Aliyu, Niger state.

Others include, Gabriel Adejo Ade Adaji, Zamfara state; Henry Fadairo, Jigawa state; Basen Gwana, Abia state; Zanna Ibrahim, Delta State; Emmanuel Ojukwu , Enugun state; Yunana Babas, Taraba State; Austine Iwar, Gombe; Adekunle Oladunjoye, Plateau State and Olufemi Oyeleye, Osun state.

CP Muritala Mani now Commissioner of Police Akwa Ibom state; Ajani Owoseni, Lagos state; Usman Abdullahi,Katsina state; Etop James,Ekiti state; Ghazzali Mohammed, Adamawa state; Peace Abdullahi,Eboyin state; Muhammed Mustapha,FCT and Sam Okaula, Anambra state.

Others are, Jimoh Omehiza, Cross River state; Adeyemi Ogunjemilosu, Bayesa state; Abdulkadri Mohammed, Sokoto state; Sunmomonu AbdulMaliki, Yobe state; Bashiru Makama,Kebi state; Ibrahim Kabiru,Kebbi state; Damian Agbachwuku,Bayesa state; Bello Sadiq, Nasarawa state; Gwanduh Aliru Bayesa State; Francis Adesanya, Rivers State and Douglas Agbonleni, Ondo state.

Twelve of them are to man the 12 Police Zonal Commands while the remaining 10 will head special formations such as operations ,training, police academy, information technology, investment, and maritime, among others.
