Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad has described the death of a member representing Orelope Constituency in Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Gideon Aremu as a shock and unfortunate.

lamented the lawmaker's murder, who he said was an active member at the assembly before his demise.

Ahmad who commiserated with Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the Speaker, OYHA, ?Rt. Hon. Adeshina Micheal Adeyemo and the deceased immediate family prayed that God forgive his sins and give them the fortitude to bear the loss.

He however urged the Oyo State Police Command and other security agencies to as a matter of necessity unravel the mystery surrounding the legislator's death.

Similarly, ?the Speaker congratulated the Olofa of Offa,Oba Mufutau Gbadamasi for his victory at the Supreme Court, describing it as a well-deserved victory.

He added that the victory is for all indigenes of Offa, admonishing them to cooperate with the monarch and ensure peace reign absolute in the town.

Ahmad further admonished other ruling House to maintain calm ?and embrace peace, stressing that such atmosphere would further enhance development of the community.
