The Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has said the Community Health Insurance Scheme (CHIS) of the state would soon cover all the 16 local government areas of the state as part of his administration's resolve to give the widest spectrum of the population access to healthcare.

He made this known when the Deputy Ambassador of Netherlands, Mitchel Decleen led a team of PharmAccess and Hygeia organizations on a visit to him at the Government House, Ilorin.

He called for collaborative efforts amongst stakeholders to address the challenge of healthcare infrastructure deficit in the country, stressing that the Community Health Insurance Scheme of the state government, in partnership with the government of Netherlands, PharmAccess and Hygeia was a positive development in that regard.
