Kwara NUJ football tourney kicks off tomorrow
Kwara NUJ inter-chapel Football competition will on Monday, 15th February kick off at the premises of Kwara Football Academy (KFA) inside the state Stadium Complex.
In the draws conducted on Friday in Ilorin at the Press Centre, Unilorin FM, State Information, NTA and National Pilot newspaper will slug it out in Group A. The Group B has Radio Kwara, Correspondent, KwaraTV and The Herald newspaper to battle for supremacy.
Unilorin FM and State Information will pit their wit in the first match of the 4-day competition from 9am while NTA will test their football skills against National Pilot newspaper at 9.45am.
By 10.30am, Radio Kwara will file out against high flying Correspondents Chapel, which has top players like Olayinka Owolewa and Shogo Shodunke to unleash on their opponents.
For the last match of Day 1 of the competition, one time SWAN Media Games bronze medallist, KwaraTV Chapel, will lock horns with Herald newspaper. For match day 2, the winner of the third match will fight for a place in the final against match winner of the 4th match.
