Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Dr. Ali Ahmad, has described the demise of late Mrs Oluwayemisi Olaoye of the Assembly Registry Department as a great loss to the House and state civil service.

In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Shuaib Abdulkadir, Ahmad who visited the deceased family at her G.R.A residence in Ilorin on Wednesday sympathised with them over the loss.

The speaker who lamented that the deceased would be sorely missed further described her as a very committed, dedicated and industrious staff.

He said until Olaoye's last day at the House of Assembly, she rendered selfless services and always discharge her duties diligently.

Ahmad who prayed for the repose of the deceased noted that she lived a life worthy of emulation and served as good example for those left behind. The speaker further prayed God to be with every members and staff of the state House of Assembly, the deceased's family and give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Responding, the deceased's brother, Mr Yinka Olaoye appreciated the Speaker, lawmakers and every staff of the House of Assembly for their support for the family.

The gesture, Olaoye stressed has undoubtedly demonstrate their love and care for the deceased and the family.

Mrs Olaoye died last Friday after a brief illness and would be buried on Friday in Ilorin.
