Attack on convoy: Kwara Governor Protests to Commissioner of Police
In a letter signed by Alhaji B. S Abdulsalam,?the Senior Special Assistant Security Intelligence to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, the State government alleged that the hoodlums vandalized two vehicles belonging to the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and one Kayode Adams in the governor's convoy.
The complaint also indicated that at about 3'0clock in the morning of 20th November, 2014, suspected PDP youth members in Kaiama destroyed some billboards of Governor Ahmed.
The State Government identified som PDP stalwarts in Kaiama as the brains behind the unfortunate incidents.
It would be recalled that Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed was in Kaiama on Tuesday to flag-off the reconstruction of the 64-kilometer Kishi-Kaiama road project, the commissioning of the modernized General Hospital and distribution of electricity transformers.
