I can't continue with loveless marriage - Womam

Date: 2014-06-07

A housewife, Sala Idowu, has  urged an Okuta Area Court in Kwara State to dissolve her eight-year-old marriage to her husband for alleged lack of love.

Sala, a mother of two, who resides at Okuta in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State, told the court that she was no longer interested in the marriage.

“There is no  more love between us  and I can’t continue with a union that lacks love,’’ she told the court.

The husband opposed the petition, saying he was still in love with his wife.

He pleaded with the court to grant him time to make a reconcilatory move with her.

The judge, Malam Ahmed Yahaya, granted the plea, and adjourned the case till June 16.
