Bukola Saraki Mourns Adamu Attah

Date: 2014-05-01

I am saddened over the death of His Excellency, Alhaji Adamu Atah- the first Executive Governor of Kwara state; a statesman of repute, and a stakeholder in the Nigeria project whose records and antecedent are clear in the history of Kwara and Nigerian politics.

Though gone, the impact of Alhaji Adamu Atah cannot be under estimated in Kwara politics and apparently, his role and contributions in the administration of Kwara State. His departure is painful, but the fact that his wealth of wisdom in the history of Kwara state administration will be missed is more painful.

I commiserate with immediate family of Alhaji Atah, the people of Kogi State and most especially the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Idris Wada , the Kwara state and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, and the entire people of Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole for losing one of our illustrious sons.

I pray almighty Allah to comfort his family and may Allah grants the departed soul Aljana Fridauz.

Signed
Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki
