Kwara, Kogi urged to collaborate on skill acquisition
Chairman, board of directors, Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Hon David Idoko, has urged Kwara and Kogi state governments to collaborate with relevant agencies towards promoting entrepreneurial and skill acquisition programmes among the youths.
Hon. Idoko stated this in an interview with Nigerian Pilot shortly after inspecting some projects yesterday in Ilorin, Kwara State capital.
Projects inspected include: Basin water factory, poultry, and commissioning of blocks of classrooms consisting of ICT, examination halls and laboratories among others at the Lower Niger River Basin Secondary School.
The board chairman said that apart from its roles of providing social responsibilities for the populace, the agency had been able to provide education and training to the general public through the industrial attachment training for students.
He therefore commended the entire management and staff of the agency for upholding the standards despite the numerous challenges and promised to continue in his bid to further transform the agency.
