An end to the crisis created within All Progressive Party (APC) in Kwara State, with the defection former Governor of the state, Bukola Saraki, the incumbent Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed and their supporters from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), may not be in sight as some chieftains of the APC insisted structure of the party should not be handed over to Saraki.

Among the chieftains opposing handling over of the structure to Saraki is Dele Belgore the former governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), who said that such step would work against the change people of the state desired in the governance of the state.

Already rumours are rife that the Belgore, who has been calming down his supporters who feel disenchanted with the reception given Saraki’s group by the national leadership of the party may leave the party for PDP.

The politician though denied this rumour said whatever the decision that would be made by his group on the long run would be made knownwhen the time comes.

Belgore, who spoke through his media aide, Rafiu Ajakaiye, while insisting on his position on the defection of Saraki’s group to APC said he still a member of the party.

As Belgore sustains his opposition to Saraki’s leadership of APC, an interim executive committee of a faction of the party, has also insisted the party structure must not be handed over to Saraki.
