Lawmaker empowers Kwara youths

About 100 youths across Offa, Oyun and Ifelodun local government area of Kwara state have been trained and empowered to make them self reliant.

The Skill acquisition training and empowerment scheme sponsored by Senator Oyelola Ashir, representing Kwara South was designed for out of school individuals, mostly youth and women.

The beneficiaries were taken through various training sessions for three days in line with their chosen vocations .

The Resource Person, Mr Oluwaseun Hakeem urged the beneficiaries to always be hardworking and focused.

Chief Imam of Offa, Alhaji Muideen Hussain Salman cautioned the beneficiaries against selling the items.

The trainees were presented with certificates and empowerment tools in Offa.
