Kwara United tackle Lubcon FC in FA Cup semi-final

Date: 2016-03-28

This year's State FA Cup continues in Kwara State today, with the defending champions Kwara United taking on Lubcon FC in the first semi-final of the competition today, at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex.

Lubcon FC defeated Avalon FC of Offa by a lone goal in the quarter-final, to draw Kwara United FC.

Kwara United FC will be led to the battle by the Chief Coach, Majin Mohammed, in the absence of the Head Coach, John Sam Obuh. The team will rely much on tactical display to dislodge the rugged and highly determined Lubcon FC boys in today's encounter which promises to be explosive.

And tomorrow, at the same venue, Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC will take on Kwara Football Academy in the second semi-final match. The final of the competition comes up on April 2.
