The Governorship Candidate of the ?Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Kwara State, Sen. Simeon Sule Ajibola, has restated his commitment to the people of Offa in Offa local government area. He promised that the incoming government will expedite action on the development of rural communities for the quick growth of the state.

He noted that the PDP government , if voted in, will give utmost attention to the dualization of the Kwara/Osun boundary road to Ajasse-Ipo? adding that upgrade of school of Health Technology and provision of transformers to further boost electricity supply will be adequately considered.

The guber candidate who was in company of his running mate, Mallam Ahmed Yinka ?Aluko, and PDP chieftains stated this on Sunday during the Party's campaign to Offa. He assured the people that his government will synergize with the local government authority to rehabilitate Adesoye-Tipper garage road, Ita Erin-Igosun as well as Anilelerin ?roads among others.

Sen Ajibola who lamented over the slow pace of development in the area also promised to upgrade Oyun water works through modern reticulation stressing that with the new Agricultural policy "We will build a farm centre in Offa, construct cottage industries especially for farm produce to further help our women and youths."

At Erin-Ile, headquarters of Oyun local government ?area, the PDP guber candidate promised to upgrade government technical college, construct Unity road to promote peaceful co-existence among various communities as well as ensure the completion of Erin-Ile dam started through communal effort.

Ajibola further stressed that his government if voted in, will upgrade Erin-Ile General Hospital, equip the Theatre and ward rooms with modern equipments adding that the party will also build? farm centre in the area to add value to cassava and sweet potatoes plantation and also encourage Cocoa farmers to boost their activities.

He therefore urged the people to massively for PDP at all levels even as he presented Arch. Lola Ashiru as the party's candidate for the Kwara South Senate as well as other candidates ahead of the March 28 and April 11 polls.
