Group Kicks Off Campaign For Ahmed
The All Progressive Congress (APC) has refused to speak either in his favour or against him coming out for the second term in office. But many supporters of the party believed that only his predecessor, Dr. Bukola Saraki has the final say on “the sensitive matter.”
The Chairman of the KSYCF Kazeem Adekanye said yesterday at a press briefing in Ilorin that they had resolved to “canvass for the second term in office of Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, a performer and reformer per excellence as governor.
“We therefore call on all well-meaning Kwarans irrespective of Political, Religious and Ethnic affiliation to drum support for the actualization of the return of Alh. Abdulfatah Ahmed come 2015 as Governor for the second time to continue and complete the good work he had already started in various facets of human development; Health, Education, Infrastructure, Water, Youth Employment/Empowerment, Agriculture, Energy etc.”
