Kwara State: PDP’s Gubernatorial Candidate Promises Fairness To All

Date: 2022-12-22

The Kwara State People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi, has promised to be fair to all irrespective of gender and political affiliations, if elected.

Alhaji Yaman stated this at a meeting he had with the Ilorin West PDP women stakeholders at the GRA residence of Princess Abdulkadir Segilola, a woman leader of the party.

“If elected, my administration will ensure that quality women are well-represented in government while ensuring that they are also empowered through the provision of non-interest small and medium-scale enterprises revolving around loans.

“I have always been one of the greatest admirers of Baba Saraki’s political ideology in terms of women’s inclusivity in governance.

“I will continue with his legacy and ensure that women in Kwara are held in high esteem,” said Yaman.

The gubernatorial candidate urged the women to go back to their various constituencies to canvass and convince their friends and wards on the need to vote the current government out of office come 2023.

Responding, Princess Segilola Abdulkadir and Alhaja Risikat Abdullahi expressed confidence in the ability of the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate to reposition the state for sustainable economic growth and development.
