The Vice Chancel­lor of the Uni­versity of Ilorin, Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali, has urged graduands of the in­stitution to always in­ternalize excellence as well as commitment to life-long learning and making research their guidance for the growth of the nation.

He also admonished them to continue to uphold probity in their dealings with people and phenomena and be devoted to service with sincerity and hard work.

The VC stated this on Friday during the first day of the 32nd convocation ceremo­nies held at the univer­sity’s auditorium. Prof Ambali urged the fresh graduands to be guided by excellence, learning, research, probity and service at all times.

The AUTHORITY on Saturday reports that 3,491 out of 6,069 grad­uands were admitted into various class of de­grees during the first day of the convocation cere­monies as the remaining numbers will be com­pleted today (Saturday).

In his address, en­titled: "Life is Good", the VC said it is imperative to impress on the grad­uands that their core responsibility is to con­tribute to making life good for others by be­ing human and humane while also promoting harmony in the society.
