Letters - Release my May/June 2011 WASSCE result
SIR: I hereby use this medium to appeal to the WAEC Registrar to use his good office to get the council to release my result.
I sat for the May/June, 2011 WASSCE, details of which are given below:
Name: Abolaji Victor Oluwaseye
School: International Arts and Science Academy, Agbabiaka, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Centre No: 4240841
Examination No: 4240841008
Subjects registered and sat for: Christian Religious Studies; Economics; Government; Literature in English; English Language; Yoruba; Mathematics; Biology.
When the council released the 2011 May/June General WASSCE results, my entire result (among others) from my school, were withheld for one year without any reasons offered by the council.
The school management took up the matter through several official letters and visits to the Ilorin WAEC office all to no avail. By this act of the council (withholding my results for a whole academic session 2011/2012), I was denied the opportunity of admission into the university for my desired course of study (law) in the 2011/2012) academic session. By late March 2012, WAEC released the withheld May/June, 2011 WASSCE results but cancelled the result of my Literature-in-English for no reason whatsoever.
I appeal to the council to release my full results, including the cancelled Literature-in-English of the same year; as this is the core and key subject (in addition to other relevant subjects passed) required to enable me study Law in any Nigerian university; and to enable me use the result for the 2012/2013 university admission exercise.
