Olawale Jimoh owed sign on fee by Kwara United

Date: 2016-04-02

The Oluyole Warriors' defender reveals he is yet to receive a sign on fee from relegated Afonja Warriors.

Shooting Stars defender, Olawale Jimoh has expressed dissatisfaction at Kwara United, who are yet to pay his sign on fee. Olawale maintained that the Harmony Warriors have made series of promises but has not been paid plus two months' salary.

"I completed a move to Kwara United mid last season and we both agreed on a N2m (two million sign on fee) which hasn't been paid at all. It's really not encouraging at all," Jimoh told Goal. "Footballers in this part of the world don't have anything to fall back when the unexpected happens.

"We try to make good use of what we earn right now to secure our future but when our entitlements aren’t paid as at when due how can we make good use of such funds?

"Though the management of Kwara United has changed long before now but they've been promising us for a little over month now that they'll pay the two months' salary they are owing us but up until I'm speaking to you nothing has been done."
